London is a beautiful city that is captivating to me with its blend of historic and modern architecture. When I’m walking through its streets, I am constantly in awe of the all the buildings that tell stories of the past, from the Buckingham Palace to the iconic Tower Bridge. London’s architecture creates a vibrant tapestry that reflects its history and spirit, making it a truly mesmerizing place to explore.
I deeply appreciate the rivers that flow through London. The Thames, in particular, holds a special place in my heart with its beauty. Walking along its banks, I am mesmerized by the sight of iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and the tower bridge reflecting in its waters. The rivers of London truly enhance the city’s natural beauty.
One of the highlights of my time in London has been trying their various fish dishes. If you know me, you know I’m not the biggest fan but I thought I’m here and I need to be one with london. But whether it’s the classic fish and chips, with its perfectly crispy batter and tender cod, enjoyed by the riverside or at a traditional chippy, or the fish burgers found in trendy pubs and diners across the city. London’s love for seafood really shines through in these dishes.
My newfound love for the London Tube has completely changed my experience of the city. The efficiency and convenience of the underground network are quite amazing; it shoots me across London in a matter of minutes. What might feel like a long journey on the map becomes a short and kind of exciting adventure underground. Time seems to go as 40-minute journeys feel like a blink of an eye, I love how swiftly I can navigate through the town. The Tube has become not just a form of transportation but a big part of my London journey.
